Ameya Prabhu
Ameya Prabhu is the Founder of Aarna Holdings, NAFA Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd and a Partner in UAP Advisors LLP. He is also serves as the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Ameya has been designated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He is also a writer and the author of “The Rock Babas and Other Stories," a book of short stories published by Amazon and sold in over 40 countries globally. He additionally serves as the Managing Director of New Age Financial Advisors, a joint venture with IFFCO, which is the world’s largest farmer’s cooperative organization. He is currently the Chairperson of the Western Region of the Indian Chamber of Commerce. He is also the brand ambassador for start-ups in the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Ameya is a part of numerous foundations and NGOs, including The Climate Group, Manav Sandhan Vikas Sanstha, Miracle Feet India, Konkan Krida Prabodhini, etc.
Abhijit Naik
Abhijit Naik has over 12 years of experience in asset management within global markets and close to 4 years of experience in engineering consulting. He has played an active role in scaling business operations for ventures across all stages of the business life cycle. He has leveraged his expertise to optimise risk and build a stronger business model for his portfolio companies.Abhijit is a British citizen and spends his time between London and Singapore.
Abhijit has substantial portfolio management experience at Nomura where he managed an AUM of over 315 million in quantitative strategies and 35 million (gross AUM 245 million) in an equity volatility strategy. Before that, he also managed a 140 million equity portfolio at Barclays employing quantitative strategies. Abhijit has also worked with American Express where he was in charge of credit models for Europe using machine learning. He also undertook chief credit officer responsibilities for Netherlands, France and Nordics.
Abhijit has published seven articles in Forbes, Harvard Business Review, and Harvard Working Knowledge on non-financial value drivers using data from sports teams and exploring the effect of leadership and compensation structure on a firm’s financial valuation. Abhijit is on the international advisory board of Manav Sadhan Vikas Sanstha, an institution that aims at providing economic opportunities and sustainable livelihood to every villager at his place of residence.
